6. How have you tried to effect change in relation to an issue of personal, local, or national significance?

I've known their has been abuse in pets and animals. I visited pet shelters and hospitals to care and tend for their sweet animals. Each one was groomed and washed to keep them healthy for anyone who wishes to adopt them. I enjoyed bathing and playing with them on the weekends. Their eyes hoping for me to carry them home, but sadly I couldn't. Although i was able to help a young girl pick out a puppy, she loves him and named him, Rocky. It was a great experience.
