3. How have you taken something that you have learned in the classroom and integrated it into your nonacademic life?

I learned to watch out for myself against strangers and predators. One time I noticed a car driving nearby at a slow pace. A man poked his head of the window watching me as I walked by. I sped up my pace, after learning how to spot nasty men I knew what event might occur. I subtly walked faster as they drove behind me. I pulled out my cellphone and ran as fast I could into a store to call the police and my parents. My parents picked me up and drove me home. I was glad I learned what I had learned.
